Advantech BB-FOSTCDRI-ST RS-232/422/485 to Single-mode Fiber (ST) Media Converter
The BB-FOSTCDRI-ST is an industrial-grade isolated converter that transforms RS-232, RS-422, or RS-485 serial signals into single-mode fiber optic signals using ST connectors. It provides 2 kV triple optical isolation for data ports and power circuits, effectively protecting equipment from ground loops and electrical surges. Supporting data rates up to 115.2 kbps and distances up to 15 km, the device is housed in an IP30-rated plastic enclosure designed for DIN rail mounting. It features a wide operating temperature range of -40 to +80°C and is suitable for heavy industrial environments.
