
Araldite® 2014-1 is a two component, room temperature curing, thixotropic paste adhesive of high strength with good environmental and excellent chemical resistance. Key properties include: Grey paste, high temperature and chemical resistance, low shrinkage, very resistant to water and a variety of chemicals, and gap filling up to 5mm thickness. It is used for bonding of metals, electronic components, GRP structures and other items requiring higher temperature or more aggressive environment resistance. Its low outgassing makes it suitable for specialist electronic telecommunication and aerospace applications. The product also demonstrates good lap shear strength after immersion in various media like IMS, Gasoline (petrol), Ethyl acetate, Acetic acid (10%), Xylene, Lubricating oil, Paraffin, and Water (at various temperatures), and good resistance to tropical weathering and heat ageing.
