Overview

The DC930A is a demonstration circuit for the LTC4001, a high-efficiency buck-based stand-alone charger for single-cell 4.2V Li-ion batteries. It operates with an input voltage between 4.3V and 5.5V and supports a maximum charge current of 2A, with a jumper option to reduce current to 1A. The board includes integrated charge termination, status LEDs for Charge, Fault, and C/10, and an onboard NTC thermistor for thermal protection. It also supports remote voltage sensing for both input and output terminals to ensure accurate regulation.
