Overview
Demonstration circuit 742B facilitates the evaluation of the LTC2449, an 8-/16-channel, high-speed, 24-bit delta sigma ADC. The board supports ten selectable speed/resolution modes ranging from 6.9Hz/200nVRMS to 3.5kHz/23μVRMS. It features an onboard LT1236 precision 5V reference and an LT1368 dual buffer amplifier to isolate signal inputs from sampling current. The design includes jumpers for selecting reference sources, analog COM inputs, and trigger modes. It is compatible with the QuikEval system via a DC590 USB Serial Controller for performance measurement and data logging.
