10BASE-TX to 10BASE-T1L media converter shield for IEEE 802.3cg SPoE applications using ADIN1100 and ADIN1200 PHYs.
The EVAL-10BT1L-MCS is a media converter shield designed for IEEE 802.3cg Single-Pair Power over Ethernet (SPoE). It facilitates data conversion between traditional 10BASE-TX 4-pair Ethernet and 10BASE-T1L single-pair Ethernet. The shield is available in two versions: the MCS-AZ for Class 10 to 14 power levels (up to 20W) and the MCS-BZ for Class 15 power levels (up to 52W). Core components include the ADIN1100 10BASE-T1L PHY and the ADIN1200 10BASE-TX PHY, which interface via RMII. Power management is handled by an on-board LT8301 isolated flyback converter providing 3.3V, while an ADuM1251 provides isolation for the MDIO management interface.
