40W LED driver reference design using XDPL8105 and CDM10V, featuring isolated 0-10V dimming, 90-305V AC input, and high-precision primary-side constant current control.
This design document provides specifications and technical implementation for a 40 W LED driver reference design based on the Infineon XDPL8105 digital PFC flyback controller and the CDM10V isolated 0-10 V dimming interface. The system supports a universal input range of 90 V to 305 V AC and an output load range of 16 V to 45 V DC. It features primary-side control for constant current regulation, Quasi-Resonant (QR) operation for efficiency, and advanced switching modulation for high power factor and low iTHD. The document includes a complete Bill of Materials (BOM), circuit schematics, PCB layout, and performance measurement data for non-dimming and dimming operation.
