Overview
The STEVAL-TO240SCR is an evaluation interface board designed to demonstrate the ACEPACK SMIT package as a high-performance alternative to traditional TO240 power modules. It features the STTN6050H-12M1Y, an automotive-qualified dual thyristor (SCR) rated for 60A and 1200V. The board maintains the same pinout, mounting points, and junction-to-ambient thermal impedance (2.8 °C/W) as a TO240 module while offering a thinner profile and compatibility with automatic assembly processes. It incorporates Redcube M5 press-fit power connectors and Faston connectors for gate driving. The design achieves a 600A surge peak current and overvoltage robustness up to 1400V, making it suitable for high-power switching applications.
