The Digilent Digital Discovery is a combined logic analyzer and pattern generator instrument designed to be an embedded development companion. It features 32 digital signals that can be configured as inputs or outputs, allowing for high-speed debug and simulation. It supports a variety of digital protocols including SPI, I2C, UART, and CAN. The device is powered via USB and provides a small form factor suitable for portable applications. It includes 24 high-speed digital inputs (up to 800 MSPS) and 16 digital outputs (up to 100 MSPS) with user-configurable logic levels between 1.2V and 3.3V.
