VGA CMOS image sensor provides 640 by 480 resolution in a 1/6.5-inch optical format. The sensor uses a 4-transistor pixel structure with an on-chip 10-bit ADC and embedded image signal processor. It supports YCbCr 4:2:2, RGB565, and raw Bayer output formats with host control through a two-wire serial interface. Operation reaches 30 frames per second in VGA mode with a 24 MHz input clock, and the device is supplied from a typical 2.8 V rail in a CSP package.
