This quasi-resonant flyback controller integrates an 800 V CoolMOS™ P7 superjunction MOSFET in a PG-DSO-12 surface-mount package. It uses valley-switching operation, selectable burst mode, and load-dependent frequency reduction to support efficient AC-DC flyback conversion and low standby power. The device is specified for up to 27 W output power, 1.53 Ω RDS(on), 0.9 mA ICC, and a 10.5 V to 29 V VCC range. It operates from -40 °C to 129 °C and includes a comprehensive non-latching protection scheme with 2 kV ESD protection.
