The AK10 series of high current transient suppressors are designed for use in A.C. line protection and demanding AC or DC applications. They utilize Foldbak technology to provide a clamping voltage lower than the avalanche voltage, ensuring superior protection by containing voltage rise during increased current conduction. These bipolar components are glass passivated and can be connected in series or parallel for high capacity solutions.
