Protection and control functions include cycle-by-cycle current limiting, thermal shutdown, hiccup short-circuit protection, external soft start, output discharge, output overvoltage protection, and power-good indication. The device operates over a -40 °C to +125 °C junction temperature range in an SOT583 package and is lead-free and RoHS compliant.
