Safety system basis chip integrates power management, CAN FD communication, system monitoring and safety functions for automotive electronic control units. The FS2300 base variants use an HVLDO V1 regulator with HVLDO2 and HVLDO3 auxiliary regulators and include CAN FD while excluding LIN and long-duration timer functions. Device control is available through a 32-bit SPI interface or I2C interface with CRC. The family is specified for QFN48EP packaging with wettable flanks and a 7 mm by 7 mm exposed-pad body for thermal management.
