This device is a single-channel gate driver for IGBT and MOSFET power switches. It uses reinforced galvanic isolation based on FluxLink solid-insulator technology and delivers up to 8 A peak output drive current. The driver can control power devices up to 600 A typical and accepts PWM and fault control signals compatible with 5 V CMOS logic, with adjustment to 15 V levels possible through an external resistor divider. It includes DESAT short-circuit protection with Advanced Soft Shut Down, primary-side and secondary-side undervoltage lockout, and a rail-to-rail output stage in an eSOP-R16B package.
