This single-channel gate driver is designed for IGBT and MOSFET switches and delivers up to 8 A peak output drive current in an eSOP-R16B package. Reinforced galvanic isolation is provided by FluxLink solid-insulator technology, and the device integrates primary- and secondary-side UVLO, DESAT short-circuit protection, and Advanced Soft Shut Down. It operates from a 5 V primary supply with a 22 V to 28 V secondary total supply, supports switching frequencies up to 75 kHz, and provides typical propagation delays of 253 ns turn-on and 262 ns turn-off. The driver is specified for -40 °C to 125 °C operation and provides 9.5 mm creepage and clearance with 5000 VRMS withstand isolation.
