Discrete socket contacts designed for power applications within cable-to-board connector systems. Featuring a closed bottom construction, these contacts offer a 6.5A current rating and are made from copper with gold plating for enhanced conductivity. The straight, surface mount orientation and press-fit termination facilitate assembly onto PCBs up to 3.18mm thick. Operating across a wide temperature range of -85°C to 257°C, these contacts are supplied in loose piece packaging.
