Positive fixed 2.7V LDO regulator with 0.5A maximum output current. Features a 2.3V minimum and 5.5V maximum input voltage, and 8-pin MSOP EP package with exposed pad for surface mounting. Offers ±1% output voltage accuracy, excellent line and load transient response, current limit, and thermal protection. Typical dropout voltages are 3mV at 10mA, 65mV at 250mA, and 130mV at 500mA. Operating temperature range is -40°C to 125°C.
