The EV1HMC8193LC4 is an evaluation board specifically designed to assess the performance of the HMC8193LC4 passive I/Q mixer. The HMC8193LC4 is a GaAs, MESFET, MMIC mixer that operates between 2.5 GHz and 8.5 GHz. The board features a 4-layer Rogers 4350B PCB substrate with signal lines matched to 50 ohms for optimal RF performance. As the HMC8193 is a passive mixer, the evaluation board does not require any DC power supply or USB connection. It allows for testing of image rejection, conversion loss, and signal isolation in both downconverter and single-sideband upconverter applications.
