The LTC4015 is a complete synchronous buck controller and battery charger that supports pin-selectable, chemistry-specific charging and termination algorithms. It is capable of charging Li-Ion/Polymer, LiFePO4, and Lead-Acid batteries with input and battery voltages up to 35V. It features a digital telemetry system with a 14-bit ADC to monitor system power parameters including battery voltage, current, resistance, and temperature. The device includes PowerPath control for input and output ideal diodes and an I2C port for extensive customization of charger algorithms and status monitoring.
