Single transmitter/receiver bus transceiver for RS-422 and RS-485 multipoint communication. Features one differential transmitter and one differential receiver with a maximum data rate of 2.5Mbps. Operates from a single 5V supply (4.75V to 5.25V) and is housed in an 8-pin PDIP N through-hole plastic package with a 2.54mm pin pitch. Supports up to 32 devices on an RS-485 bus and 10 devices on an RS-422 bus.
