A linear Hall-effect sensor delivers an 8-bit analog ratiometric voltage output, directly proportional to the perpendicular magnetic flux density, with a sensing range of ±400 Gauss (±40 mT). It offers sensitivity of 2.25 mV/G at 1.8V and 3.8 mV/G at 3.0V, operating across a wide 1.6V to 3.6V supply voltage range. The device features micropower consumption of 13 µA (typical at 1.8V, 24Hz sampling) and supports a turbo mode at 1 mA (typical, 6.25kHz sampling), with selectable operating modes (Micropower, Turbo, External-drive) and sleep mode controllable via a CNTRL pin for optimized power management and sampling rates. Designed for single-axis magnetic field measurement, it maintains high accuracy through internal trimming and operates reliably from -40°C to +85°C. The component is provided in a surface mount U-DFN2020-6 (Type C) package and includes 6kV Human Body Model (HBM) ESD protection, with a maximum output current of 10 mA. High accuracy, micropower linear Hall-effect sensor with an 8-bit output resolution. Designed for battery-powered consumer and industrial applications, it features a ratiometric output voltage proportional to the magnetic flux density perpendicular to the part marking surface.
