The DCNEVT500-C is a high-current (500A) and high-voltage (1800V) DC contactor relay designed specifically for electric vehicle (EV), hybrid electric vehicle (HEV), and industrial applications. It features a hermetically sealed ceramic arc chamber that protects all moving parts and enables high-voltage switching up to 360KW. The unit includes a dual coil economizer that utilizes pulse width modulation (PWM) to significantly reduce coil power consumption and heating once energized. The contactor uses polarized contacts for optimized performance with polarized electrical loads and is housed in a Nylon UL 94-V0 enclosure with an IP54 rating.
