The 88LX5153 is a new-generation digital baseband (DBB) processor for wireline communications using existing cables. It is designed to cover powerline, coaxial, phoneline, and plastic optical fiber (POF) mediums. It features support for ITU-T G.9960/G.9961/G.9962/G.9963/G.9964 standards and includes integrated RAM to reduce BOM cost. It provides high performance PHY data rates with advanced algorithms for Neighboring Domain Interference Mitigation (NDIM) and AES-128 security.
