Personal identification information
As the data controller for our users' data, we may collect personal identification information in a variety of ways, including when users visit the Site, register on the Site, fill out a form, respond to a survey, or interact with other features, services, and resources we make available through Datasheets.com.
Users may be asked for information such as name, email address, and phone number. The information we collect is not used for unrelated profiling, and we do not make automated decisions based solely on the data a user provides.
Users may visit the Site anonymously. Users can always refuse to supply personal identification information, though doing so may prevent them from engaging in certain Site-related activities.
Non-personal identification information
We may collect non-personal identification information whenever users interact with the Site. This may include the browser name, the type of computer, operating system, internet service provider, and other technical information about a user's means of connection to the Site.
Web browser cookies
The Site may use cookies to enhance user experience. A user's web browser places cookies on their device for record-keeping purposes and, in some cases, to track information about them. Users may choose to set their browser to refuse cookies or to alert them when cookies are being sent. If they do so, some parts of the Site may not function properly.
We may use tools such as Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Google Analytics, or comparable analytics and advertising technologies to understand site usage and support audience measurement and retargeting.

- To personalize user experience by understanding how users interact with the Site in the aggregate.
- To improve the Site, products, and services using feedback and usage patterns.
- To run promotions, contests, surveys, webinars, white paper registrations, or other Site features when offered.
- To send periodic emails in response to inquiries, account activity, or opt-in communications.

We adopt appropriate data collection, storage, and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your personal information and other data stored on our systems.
Sharing your personal information
We may use third-party service providers to help us operate our business and the Site or administer activities on our behalf, such as sending newsletters, running surveys, processing registrations, or supporting analytics. We may share contact information with advertisers or sponsors when a user has explicitly indicated interest in their products or services, such as by clicking on or registering through a sponsored placement.
Giveaways, design contests, webinars, and industry white papers
If a user registers and opts in for a giveaway, design contest, webinar, industry white paper, Tech Days event, or similar sponsored program offered through the Site, the user acknowledges that their contact information may be shared with the sponsoring companies as stated on the applicable registration page.

On some registration pages, we may partner with companies and provide an option to request more information from them. If you choose that option, we may share your contact information with the sponsoring company.
Surveys
We may conduct user surveys to better understand the needs of our audience and improve our features. We may share aggregated demographic information from these surveys with advertisers and partners. We do not share survey information about specific individuals with third parties without the user's consent.
Third-party websites
Users may find advertising or other content on the Site that links to the sites and services of partners, suppliers, advertisers, sponsors, licensors, and other third parties.
