Single transmitter/receiver bus transceiver supporting RS-422 and RS-485 standards. Features a 10Mbps minimum data rate, differential signal types for both transmission and reception, and operates from a single 5V supply (4.75V to 5.25V). Designed for multidrop and multipoint data transmission topologies, this 8-pin SOIC N package integrates one transmitter and one receiver with enable functions. Supports up to 32 devices per line in RS-485 mode and 10 devices per line in RS-422 mode, with a typical supply current of 0.9mA. Operating temperature range is 0°C to 70°C.
