The MLX90614ESF-BCI-000-SP is a non-contact infrared thermometer integrated into a TO-39 metal can package. It combines an infrared sensitive thermopile detector and a signal conditioning ASIC with a low-noise amplifier, 17-bit ADC, and DSP. This 'BCI' specific variant is characterized by a 3V operating voltage, internal thermal gradient compensation for improved stability in changing thermal environments, and a narrow 5-degree field of view for precise spot measurements. The device is factory calibrated and supports both SMBus and PWM digital outputs.
