The MC3630 is an ultra-low power, low-noise, integrated digital output 3-axis accelerometer optimized for wearables and consumer product motion sensing. It features a monolithic fabrication approach where the MEMS sensor is integrated on a single-chip with the electronics IC. The device supports various sensing ranges from ±2g to ±16g and provides multiple power modes including Sniff and Wake to minimize current draw. It offers up to 14-bit resolution and incorporates a 32-sample FIFO buffer to reduce system communication overhead.
