The Memsic MX2125 is a low-cost, dual-axis thermal accelerometer capable of measuring acceleration up to +/- 2g. It can measure both dynamic acceleration (vibration) and static acceleration (gravity). The sensor uses a heated gas chamber to detect movement based on convection, outputting a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) signal where the duty cycle represents the acceleration.
