The SI1153-AB9X-GM is an integrated ambient light, proximity, and gesture sensor module from Silicon Labs. It features an on-die 940nm passband filter to reject unwanted visible and infrared light from sunlight and other sources. The device includes three independent LED drivers and is optimized for low-power operation, with a standby current of less than 500nA and an average operating current of 9µA under typical pulsing conditions. It communicates via an I2C interface and supports multiple-axis gesture detection when used with external LEDs. The module is housed in a compact 10-lead LGA package.
