Dual transmitter/receiver interface IC for RS-232 communication. Features Schmitt trigger input characteristics and inverted output polarity. Operates with a nominal supply voltage of 5V, ranging from 4.5V to 5.5V, and a maximum supply current of 10mA. This 16-pin SOIC package, with dimensions of 9.9mm length and 3.9mm width, is rated for commercial temperature grades from 0°C to 70°C.
