
The VM3000 is a high-performance, low-noise digital MEMS microphone with a Pulse Density Modulation (PDM) output. It utilizes a unique piezoelectric MEMS architecture that provides high immunity to environmental contaminants like water, dust, and oil, making it IP57 rated. The device features an ultra-fast startup time of 200 microseconds, which is significantly faster than traditional capacitive MEMS microphones, enabling improved performance for wake-word applications. It supports multiplexing of two microphones on a single data line for stereo configurations and provides high RFI and EMI immunity due to its digital interface.
