The SiC438 is a synchronous buck regulator with integrated high-side and low-side power MOSFETs. Its power stage is capable of supplying 8 A continuous current at up to 1 MHz switching frequency. It produces an adjustable output voltage down to 0.6 V from a 3 V to 28 V input rail. The architecture delivers ultrafast transient response with minimum output capacitance and tight ripple regulation at light load. It is internally compensated and features protections including overcurrent (OCP), output overvoltage (OVP), short circuit (SCP), output undervoltage (UVP), and thermal shutdown (OTP).
