3M Circuit Plating Tape 1280 is a polyester film tape with a unique adhesive specifically designed for printed circuit board masking during electroplating. It features a low-stretch polyester film suitable for both machine and hand application. The thick adhesive coating is formulated to reduce undercutting by blocking out solutions between fingers. It is commonly used for masking PCB during solder stripping and precious metal plating, as well as for splicing silicone-treated papers.
