3M Polyimide Film Tape 5413 consists of a DuPont Kapton polyimide film with a silicone adhesive. It is designed for high-temperature applications such as PCB solder masking and protection of gold fingers during wave soldering. The tape is flame retardant, chemical resistant, and radiation resistant. It maintains dimensional stability at high temperatures to prevent rework and features a silicone adhesive that reduces adhesive transfer to eliminate cleaning.
