3M Low Static Polyimide Film Tape 5419 is a translucent, polyimide film-backed silicone adhesive tape with unique and extremely low electrostatic discharge properties. It is designed for high-temperature applications such as solder masking for printed circuit boards during wave solder or solder dip processes. The tape employs a proprietary technology that results in very low electrostatic discharge upon unwind and removal from the PWB, protecting sensitive electronic components from ESD damage.
