3M 9703 is a pressure sensitive adhesive transfer tape with anisotropic electrical conductivity. It consists of a high-performance acrylic adhesive matrix filled with silver particles, allowing electrical interconnections through the adhesive thickness (Z-axis) while remaining electrically insulating in the plane of the tape. It provides high adhesion to common substrates like copper, gold, polyimide, and polyester films, and is designed for grounding, EMI shielding, and flexible circuit attachment without the need for thermal curing.
