3M 9703 is a pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) transfer tape with anisotropic electrical conductivity. The adhesive matrix is filled with silver particles that enable electrical interconnections through the adhesive thickness (Z-axis) between substrates while remaining electrically insulating in the plane of the tape. It is designed for grounding, EMI shielding, and bonding flexible circuits to rigid PCB or LCD screens. It offers low outgassing and good adhesion to copper, gold, FR-4 epoxy, and polyimide films.
