The Adafruit 4884 is a quad-channel 12-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) breakout featuring the Microchip MCP4728. It includes an internal non-volatile EEPROM used to store DAC settings that load automatically on power-up. The device supports two reference voltage sources: the VCC input voltage (0V-3.3V or 0V-5V) or an internal 2.048V reference with selectable 1X and 2X output gains. The board is equipped with STEMMA QT/Qwiic compatible JST SH connectors for solderless I2C communication and is designed for single-supply operation between 2.7V and 5.5V.
