The AS5245 is a contactless magnetic rotary position sensor for accurate angular measurement over a full turn of 360 degrees. It features a redundant design with two dies in a single package for mission-critical applications. It provides absolute angle measurement with a resolution of 4096 positions per revolution via a serial bit stream (SSI) and as a PWM signal. The device is tolerant to magnet misalignment and air gap variations and is fully automotive qualified.
