The AS5304 is a contactless magnetic incremental series sensor for linear and rotary off-axis applications. It features a multi-pole magnet strip or ring with a 4.0 mm pole pair length, providing 160 pulses per 4.0 mm. It includes a quadrature output interface with an index pulse and is capable of high-speed movements up to 20m/s. The device is immune to external magnetic stray fields and is designed for harsh environments.
