High speed single difference amplifier integrates input short-to-battery protection up to 18 V for differential or pseudo-differential video receivers. The amplifier provides 0.50 V/V nominal gain, 84 MHz small-signal bandwidth, 250 V/µs slew rate, and 73 dB signal-to-noise ratio to 15 MHz. It operates from a 2.9 V to 5.5 V supply with enable/output-disable control and a short-to-battery flag output. The device is supplied in a 3 mm × 3 mm, 8-lead LFCSP package and is specified for −40°C to +125°C operation.
