Wideband vector network analyzer front end integrates a bidirectional bridge, downconversion mixers, programmable IF amplifiers and filters, and a flexible LO interface. The RF path operates from 10 MHz to 20 GHz with a 50 Ω transmission line and typical insertion loss from 1.0 dB to 1.9 dB across listed test frequencies. The IF signal path supports programmable bandwidth from 1 MHz to 100 MHz and SPI-programmable gain in 6 dB steps. The device uses 5 V analog and IF supplies, a 1.8 V to 3.6 V SPI supply, and operates from −40°C to +105°C in a 3 mm × 4 mm, 26-lead LGA package.
