Integrated digital video encoder converts CCIR-601 4:2:2 YCrCb component video into PAL or NTSC analog baseband television signals. The device supports 8-bit CCIR-656 and 16-bit parallel pixel inputs with a single 27 MHz clock for standard operation. Four DAC outputs provide composite video together with S-Video Y/C, YUV, or RGB output modes into doubly terminated 75 ohm loads. A two-wire I2C-compatible MPU interface configures video timing, filters, subcarrier phase, and operating modes. The device operates from a 5 V supply over a 0 °C to 70 °C temperature range in a 44-pin PQFP package.
