Low noise wideband amplifier uses GaAs MMIC pHEMT technology and operates from 0.01 GHz to 10 GHz. The amplifier provides 15.5 dB typical gain, 1.7 dB typical noise figure, and 34 dBm typical OIP3 while drawing 55 mA from a 5 V supply. Inputs and outputs are internally matched to 50 ohms for surface-mount RF designs. The device is supplied in a RoHS-compliant 2 mm by 2 mm 6-lead LFCSP package rated for −40°C to +85°C operation.
