Triple step-down synchronous DC/DC switching regulator controller drives all N-channel power MOSFET power stages. Constant-frequency peak current-mode control supports synchronization and phase-lockable switching from 100 kHz to 3 MHz. The controller operates from a 4.5 V to 40 V input supply and supports output voltages from 0.8 V to 99% of VIN. Three 120-degree out-of-phase buck channels reduce input capacitance demand, power loss, and supply noise. The 40-lead 6 mm by 6 mm plastic QFN package is specified for -40°C to 150°C operation.
