The TMC5160A-WA is a high-power stepper motor controller and driver IC with serial communication interfaces for 2-phase stepper motors. It features a flexible ramp generator for automatic target positioning and external MOSFET driver stages for coil currents from 1A to several 10A. The device incorporates StealthChop2 for silent operation, SpreadCycle for high dynamics, and StallGuard2 for sensorless load detection. The 'WA' variant indicates a wettable flank QFN package for enhanced optical inspection.
