The HEDS-5701-K12 is an absolute & incremental rotary optical encoder with a flat shaft style, suitable for operation at a maximum speed of 300 revolutions per minute. It has a minimum operating supply voltage of 4.5VDC and a maximum operating supply voltage of 5.5VDC. The encoder is programmable and has a mechanical life of 1,000,000 cycles. It is designed for panel mount applications and has a right angle body orientation. The HEDS-5701-K12 operates within a temperature range of -20 to 85°C.
