The MP820 is a Kool-Pak® power film resistor in a TO-220 style package with a metal mounting tab. It features a non-inductive design suitable for high-speed switching, snubbers, and RF applications up to 500 MHz. The resistor element is electrically isolated from the mounting surface and can handle up to 20 Watts at +25°C case temperature, derated to zero at +175°C.
