Low-power stereo audio CODEC supports portable digital audio applications with integrated stereo Class D speaker drivers. The speaker outputs deliver 1 W per channel into 8 Ω BTL loads from a 5 V speaker supply. Integrated headphone drivers, microphone bias, programmable automatic level control, limiting, and noise gate functions reduce external analog circuitry. The device supports sample rates from 8 kHz to 48 kHz and operates from 2.7 V to 3.6 V analog supplies with 1.71 V to 3.6 V digital core and I/O supplies. It is supplied in a 5 mm by 5 mm by 0.9 mm QFN package.
