The CMX868AD2 is a multi-standard modem IC designed for telephone-based information and telemetry systems. It supports V.22 bis 2400 bps QAM, V.22, V.23, Bell 212A, Bell 202, and Bell 103 standards. The device features an integrated DTMF encoder/decoder with high voice falsing immunity, programmable USARTs for asynchronous data, and an integrated hybrid circuit for 2 or 4-wire line interfaces. It includes a hook switch relay drive and a ring detector circuit that remains active in powersave mode.
